Disparate and separate,
In different spectrums of hell.
One battling death before life started
The other sees life end in a cell
Both not knowing the other
No names, not even a chance encounter.
One oblivious, only knowing treatment and meds
The other is restricted, not allowed to meander.
From behind bars, a mother wails in remorse,
From the pain of needles, a babe’s in a stupor.
Both not knowing the other’s pain
No names, not even a chance encounter.
Can these hell’s spectrums be traversed,
Through Meditation on Twin’s Hearts and healing that’s divine?
Can cries of pain and sobs of depression be hushed?
By hands held close to the heart, rendering a healing design?
Like many a miracle, the answer came so simple
As crocheting plushies salve the soul and ease the despair.
While a sick child, still oblivious to what’s going on,
